We all have a "it would be nice..." list of items that would make our day-to-day tasks as business owners easier. Double checking reports at a glance instead of going back and fourth between pages or a quick balance sheet that your entire team has access too to see over and short amounts or printing shelf labels that anyone can print without relying on a manager to print them out or... With the rise of technology as a whole there are a lot of methods that can be used to improve your day-to-day tasks. AI may be the popular word this year and are these the tools that small business could or should be using? Have you thought about what you are trying to automate with in your business? Sometimes a simple Google Sheets project utilizing Google APP Scripts could be extremely powerful and there would be no need to share your private business data with an AI agent.
Take for example invoices. We will use a gas station convenience store as an example that receives product from Frito Lay, Pepsi, Coca Cola, Reyes Distribution or any other local distributor you use. As a business you may have access to a handheld scanning device that can help input invoices using the distributors scan sheet. Datalogic is a popular popular brand when it comes to handheld devices. Using a handheld scanning device can reduce human error, but the entry is only as good as the person entering in the invoice data. At the moment Gavid Development is able to process Reyes Coca Cola, Frito Lay, Reyes Gate City Distribution and Trepco West invoices. Our current process is compatible with Series2K or S2KPrime back-office system that many gas station business use. If your distributor is able to provide a PDF copy of your invoices then we can process it for you! We will contact your back-office system provider on your behalf to get your setup.

Print From Price Book
A tool we have been working on is making it easier for business owners to print shelf labels. It might sound ridicules... shelf labels! As a consumer walking into a store we see them everywhere on every shelf. You think nothing of it while walking down the isle shopping around. As a business owner printing labels for items might be easy and maybe you wish it could be easier. Perhaps you wish anyone on your team can print a new label after your price book has been updated or a simply reprint a label that is worn out and dirty.
Our Print From Price Book android application would like this made accessible to all business owners small or big! As long as you have access to a csv file of your price book then our application can map your file and then you can easily scan and print.
